Jaspers Cartoons & Art - Caricatures

Hello!

My name is Jasper Smithers I am a cartoonist and artist .

I have worked for about 9 years as a performing caricaturist and there are one or two web sites with my caricatures on the Internet.

I have been drawing caricatures since studying illustration 16 years ago and I have been a full time caricaturist for 9 years.

Most of my work as a caricaturist involves being hired to draw at parties and corporate events.

The images are either water colours or drawn in ink with a brush.

On this page is the art which is closest to what I do when I am hired to draw at events.

Most of the paintings here took about fifteen minutes to do, the longest time spent on one was half an hour.

Usually when I work at parties the portraits I draw take five minutes.

All the images here are were done on location at concerts or other public places.
